Oliver Queen (also known as the Green Arrow and the Spectre, formerly known as the Hood and the Arrow) is one of the main protagonists of the Arrowverse, debuting as the main protagonist of the CW's Arrow. Mentored by several individuals such as Yao Fei Gulong, Slade Wilson, Shado, and Talia al Ghul, Oliver took up the idea to become a vigilante as an archer. After being away from home for five years, Oliver returns to Starting City to rid the city of crime from corrupted CEOs and businesspeople, his father included.
Oliver Queen was the son of the late Robert Queen and Moira Queen (née Dearden), the maternal half-brother of Emiko Adachi and Thea Queen, the husband of Felicity Smoak, and the father of Mia Queen and William Clayton. He is also the best friend of John Diggle and Tommy Merlyn, a good friend of Kara Danvers, the former lover of Laurel Lance, Samantha Clayton, Shado, the ex-boyfriend of McKenna Hall, and Sara Lance, and the former leader of Team Arrow. He was also briefly married to Nyssa Al Ghul through the League of Assassins before she anulled the marriage in Season Six.
